Use of Pulse Induction Metal Detector

A PI detector is also known as pulse induction metal detector. That is, the moment it comes in contact with any specific metal it sends magnetic pulses as an indication of existence of some metal. Searching for metals is so very adventurous; mostly the adventure tourists prefer to buy a metal detector, as this detector is good for the adventure freaks who wish to search for metals like gold, silver etc. The best thing about this metal detector is that it can work both under water, with in and upon the land.

How does PI detector work?
Well, these detectors work on the basis of the magnetic pulses it produces short and powerful bursts of current through the coil that is connected to wire. It may use a single coil as both transmitter and receiver. A branded and well performing PI detectors send about 100 pulses per second, whereas the other normal ones differ. The best one would cost you high, where as the normal metal detector might cost you lesser. If you want to buy a metal detector for leisure or for usage in home you may buy any, but if your choice is for the adventure trip or professional purpose, then better choose a branded detector in order to get appropriate performance.

There are different metal detectors available in the market, where all are used for different purposes. That is, not all the detectors are used for detecting all kind of metals. For example Minelab metal detectors eliminate the iron scrap from the gold. GPX is specifically used to detect gold and so on. In the same way this metal detector is specifically used for detecting gold. Before you plan to buy a metal detector do make a list of your purpose and also surf a little on internet to drag more information about the detector you are planning to buy. Also, do not compromise with the quality just for the cost.
